In this Art Competition, we welcomed participants to imagine taking a walk on mars. We asked participants to sketch and illustrate walking through a future Martian Street, where movement through habitats and social spaces was explored.
The aim of the competition was to evoke the experience and feel of walking through a Martian settlement.
We are proud to announce the winners and honourable mentions, along with a list of Top 50 submissions shortlisted by the jury for ‘Mars Calling: sketch the future’. We received a staggering response from 490+ Teams and roughly 1200+ Participants who joined this art competition from all over the world.
All the participants have shown impressive level of creativity and extraordinary skills. All the Top 50 submissions are up for viewing on the website and published on various media platforms.
We invited everyone, irrespective of their professions or qualifications, to join the competition and present their ideas. Participants were free to submit multiple entries but each entry needed to be registered with a separate email ID.
Alongside individual entries, team entries were also allowed. A team could have a maximum of three participants. Interdisciplinary teams were also welcomed to join. There was no age limit, however, entrants under 18 years of age must be lead or entered by someone over the age of 18.
