1How does a team receive their unique Teamcode code?
All the participants will only receive the unique teamcode on completion of the registration process.
2Where all do the participants need to use their unique team code?
All the participants would be using their team code on the top right corner of their sheets, as the name of their submission and wherever requested by the organizer. This code will be their only identification for the process related with this competition.
3What is the limit or cap on the number of team members and can anyone participate individually?
A team can have up to 3 members and cannot exceed this number. The participants who desire to participate individually can do so by filling and submitting the details for the team leader.
4Can I change team members after I register?
Teams are welcome to add any new members as long as their total members do not exceed 3. However they are prohibited from swapping or removing any existing member of the team. To do this please send us your request on competition@archdais.com with the details of the new team member along with the team Unique Teamcode.
5What is the nature of the competition and is it open for all?
Future Materials Pavilion, is an open ideas design competition with no intentions to execute the proposals submitted in any form. The competition is open to all and students and professionals can join the competition.
6Are the teams allowed to share their work for the competition before the winners are announced by the organizer?
The participants are only permitted to share their proposal for the competition on social media or any other platform once the winners are revealed officially. Archdais will also publish each submission at this date and will be working with many design platforms to attract publication opportunities.
7What are the modes of submissions?
The participants are requested to submit their work through mail on submission@archdais.com in A1 size sheet in 150 DPI resolution formats. All the submissions will be taken digitally only.
8What should be the submission file size?
The file size should not exceed more than 10MB.
9What file name should be given to submission material?
The participants are requested to submit the files with their unique team code as its name. Follow the submission guidelines given in the brief carefully.
10What unit system should any participant adhere in case if anyone wants to show dimensions?
The participants are free to use any one of imperial or metric unit systems.
11What would the size of the sheet be?
The participants are required to use an A1 sheet i.e. (841 x 594 mm), (33.1 x 23.4 inch). The sheets must be composed in Landscape orientation, with the Unique Team Code on the top right corner.
12What should the participants do in case the payments are not available in our country?
We request the participants to send us the queries on competition@archdais.com to get an alternate payment method. We would send you all the possible payment methods.
13What does the participant do when they don’t get a unique identification code after the payment is made?
In case of such a problem we request you to send us screenshot of your payment receipt to competition@archdais.com with the “unique identification code” as subject matter within two working days of the transaction.
14How will participants receive their Unique Team Code?
Participants will receive their unique Team Code upon completing the registration process.
15Are multiple entries allowed, and how should they be registered?
Yes, participants can submit multiple entries, but each entry requires a separate email ID.
16What should participants do if payments are unavailable in their country or if they face issues?
If you encounter payment issues, please email competition@archdais.com to request alternate payment methods. We will provide all available options.
17Where should participants use their unique Team Code?
Your Team Code should be included in the top right corner of the submission sheet, in the email subject line (if submitting via email), and as the file name.
18What should participants do if they don’t receive a Unique Identification Code after payment?
If you don’t receive your Team Code after payment, send a screenshot of your payment receipt to competition@archdais.com within two working days.
19Is there an entry fee for the competition?
Yes, there is an entry fee. Details on the fee are provided in the competition brief.
20What is a promo code, and how can participants get one? Is it mandatory?
Promo codes are available for fee discounts but are optional. Obtain a promo code from Archdais influencers or check our Instagram @archdais.competitions for offers.
21Will I get a certificate even if I don’t win?
Yes—all registered participants who submit their entries will receive an official digital certificate of participation.

23Can I use portrait orientation instead of landscape?
No. The competition accepts only one landscape-oriented A1 sheet. This ensures that all submissions are evaluated on a consistent format and scale.
24Can I add my logo or personal branding?
No. The competition is anonymous. Your sheet cannot contain your name, logo, college, firm, watermark, or any identifiable mark.
25Is the 300-word text explanation strict or flexible?
The limit is 300 words for the project explanation, excluding titles. It is best to stay within this limit so the jury can read your narrative quickly and clearly.
26Can I place the Team Code anywhere else if the top right corner affects my layout?
The Team Code must appear at the top right corner. If it interferes with your layout, you may adjust the design around it, but the position cannot change.
27Can I use any font style or are there restrictions?
You may use any clear and readable font. There are no restrictions, but avoid decorative fonts that may reduce clarity when printed or viewed by the jury.
28Do I need to add dimensions to the drawings?
Dimensions are optional. Include them only if they clarify scale or spatial relationships. They are not required for evaluation.
29Can I change team members after registering?
Yes. You may update or change team members anytime before submission by emailing us.
30Can I add a team member later?
Yes. You may expand your team up to three members anytime before the submission deadline.
31I haven't received my Team Code. What should I do?
Please check your spam or promotions folder. If you still haven’t received it within 24 hours, send us your payment screenshot and we will assist you immediately.
32My payment went through but I received no email. Am I registered?
If the payment was successful, your registration is confirmed. Share your screenshot with us and we will ensure you receive your Team Code.
33I paid twice by mistake. What should I do?
Write to us with both payment IDs, and we will help resolve it.
34I cannot pay from my country. Is there an alternative?
Yes. Email us and we will provide alternate payment options that work internationally.
35Are registration fees refundable?
No. Registration fees are non-refundable.
36Do all team members need to register separately?
No. One registration covers the entire team.
37Can I register using someone else’s card?
Yes, as long as the email used during registration belongs to the team, not the cardholder.
38How do I upload/submit my sheet?
You may upload your sheet directly on your Archdais profile using the submission button visible after logging in. If you face any difficulty, you may email your sheet using your Team Code as the subject line.
39What if the submit button doesn’t appear?
Ensure you are logged in using the same email used for registration. If the issue persists, use email submission.
40What if the website crashes near the deadline?
If you face technical errors close to the deadline, you may submit via email within the same timeframe. Email submissions are accepted only when platform issues occur.
41Can I email my sheet instead of submitting through the website?
Yes, but only when the website submission does not function for you.
42How long after submission do I get a confirmation?
Email submissions receive an acknowledgment within 36–48 working hours. Website submissions show an immediate confirmation on your dashboard.
43Do I need to rename my file in a specific way?
Yes. The file name should be your Team Code (e.g., THXXXX.jpg).
44My internet is unstable. Will a failed upload disqualify me?
No. If uploading fails, email your sheet immediately with your Team Code.
45The submission page is not loading. What should I do?
Try a different browser or network, and then use email if the issue continues.
46Will the timings be based on IST or my country’s time zone?
All deadlines follow Indian Standard Time (IST).
47Will my identity be revealed to the jury?
No. The competition is anonymous. Only your Team Code is shared with the jury.
48Can I contact the jury if I want to explain something?
No. Participants must not contact jurors directly.
49Will Archdais own my design?
No. You retain full ownership. Archdais may publish your work with credit to you.

54Will there be a deadline extension?
Deadlines are rarely extended, so it is best to plan your submission accordingly.

56Can teams from the same college apply for group discounts?
Yes. Group discounts are available for five or more teams from the same institution.
