1What file types can I submit?

Each file uploaded should be a maximum size of 15MB file size. PDFs are recommended.


2What dimensions should my rendering have?

Submit PDF with A2 size sheet (594mm x 420mm) Landscape orientation. As your file is going to be viewed on a computer/laptop screen. Refer to Submission Requirement & Format given in the brief.


3What type of renderings can be submitted?

Your rendering(s) can take the form of a perspective, parallel projection, section, or abstract. As long as it portrays part or all of a building or group of buildings or interior space, it is eligible. It can be located anywhere in the world and be at any scale.


4Can I submit more than one rendering?

Yes! You can submit as many renderings as you like but each entry must be registered with a separate email ID.


5Can my rendering be of an existing building or an interior space?

Yes. Your rendering can illustrate a new architectural or interior design proposal or an existing piece of architecture or interior design. It should capture the experience of those that would inhabit it in some way.


6What type of software can I use to create my rendering?

Any 3D modeling software and post-production software (such as photoshop) can be used. The image should be identifiable as a rendering rather than a photo, and also attach clay render or wireframe or Model without Texture as guided in the submission requirements. The Archdais team will use its discretion to judge eligibility and reserves the right to disqualify entries.


7How will my renderings be judged?

Submissions will be judged online according to three key criteria: Communication, aesthetics, and impact. Definitions of those 3 terms can be found on the judging criteria page given in the brief. (Download it from our website www.archdais.com)


8Can multiple people submit a rendering as a team?

Yes! Teams of up to three can submit an entry. One person in the team must be designated as the “team leader”. In the event a team wins, prize money will be given to the team leader and they will be responsible for distributing the prize among their team members.


9How can I be sure you have received my entry?

You will receive a confirmation email from submission@archdais.com once the submission deadline has ended, even if you share the entry before the deadline, a confirmation will be shared after 24-48 hours of the deadline.


10Can I withdraw my entry? Will I get a refund?

Refunds WILL NOT be issued.


11Do I have to be an architect or interior designer or architecture/interior design student to enter?

No. The Great Render Competition celebrates the architectural process and all of those who aspire to create great architecture/ interior design spaces. Students, design enthusiasts, and the general public are encouraged to submit.


12Do I have to be based in India to participate?

No, The Great Render Competition is a global awards program and anyone in the world may enter.


13I just graduated. Can I enter as a Student?

Yes — Class of 2022 students that just graduated or are about to graduate can enter as Students.


14Does the entry description need to be in English?

Yes. To ensure our judges can review and score your work we require your descriptions to be submitted in English.


15What is The Great Render Competition timeline?

Opening Call for Entries: Friday, August 5th, 2022 Early Bird Deadline: Tuesday, September 20th, 2022 Standard Entry Deadline: Sunday, October 30th, 2022 Late Entry Deadline: Friday, November 25th, 2022 Submission Deadline: Thursday, 1st December 2022 Winners Announced: Wednesday, 25th January 2023


16Is there an entry fee for The Great Render Competition?

Archdais community supported and entry fees enable us to run competitions sustainably, as well as publish and promote the best submissions year-round across Archdais. The fees for each entry period are as follows: Early Bird: Indian Nationals INR 1000 | Foreign Nationals USD 30$ Standard: Indian Nationals INR 1500 | Foreign Nationals USD 45$ Late: Indian Nationals INR 2000 | Foreign Nationals USD 60$


17Who is the Jury for The Great Render, Competition?

The Jury for 'The Great Render Competition' is as follows 1. Rheza Eka Nugraha, Kun Kun Visuals (Indonesia) 2. Andras Kaldos, Brick Visual (Hungary) 3. Vsevolod Belyaev, Kos studio (Russia)


18Is it possible to receive the judge’s rating and/or comments for my entry?

Unfortunately, due to the high volume of entries, Archdais cannot offer individual comments to its entrants.


19How many entrants will win The Great Render Competition?

50 entrants will be shortlisted. Out of these Finalists, Three (3) winners will be selected by our Jury to win the INR 100,000 cash prize, with 15 Honourable Mentions along with the top 32 entries shortlisted for TOP 50.


20What do I get if I win The Great Render Competition or if my entry is chosen as a Finalist?

To help promote achievement, Finalists will receive special coverage on Archdais.com and Archdais’s social media channels. Three Winners will receive INR 100,000 cash prize & Certification.
