1What is the nature of the competition, and is it open to all?
Jaipur Rugs Pavilion is an International Design & Build competition open to everyone—students, professionals, design studios, and interdisciplinary teams from any background and location.
2Should drawings be composed by hand or using specific software?
Participants are free to use any medium for their presentation. Hand-drawn sheets should be scanned and emailed to submission@archdais.com, ensuring all submission guidelines are followed.
3Can we participate as a team?
Yes—teams of up to 3 members are allowed. Interdisciplinary and cross-location teams are encouraged.
4Can team members be from different colleges or countries?
Yes—teams can be cross-institutional and international.
5Can team members be changed after registration?
Teams are welcome to add new members as long as the total does not exceed three. Please send any updates to competition@archdais.com with your UIC and the updated member details.
6What is the format and size requirement for the submission?
Submission must be one landscape A1 sheet (841 × 594 mm), in JPG/JPEG format, and under 10MB in file size. The sheet should be named as your Team Code (e.g., JRXXXXX.jpg).
7Where and how do I submit my entry?
Upload your sheet through your dashboard on archdais.com using the 'Submit' button. If facing technical issues, email your submission to submission@archdais.com with your Team Code as the subject line.
8Will all participants receive certificates?
Yes—every team that submits a valid entry will receive a Certificate of Participation.
9Will every participant receive a souvenir?
Yes—Jaipur Rugs has planned meaningful souvenirs for all participants who submit their pavilion design.
10What is the Jaipur Rugs Village Tour, and who is eligible?
The Village Tour is an immersive, guided visit to a Jaipur Rugs weaving village where winners and honorable mentions will be invited to witness rug-making, meet artisans, and explore traditional craftsmanship firsthand.
11Can I request a high-resolution rug image not included in the brief?
Yes—email competition@archdais.com with the rug name or a screenshot. We’ll share high-resolution files for your proposal.
12Can I explore both themes in a single submission?
No—each submission must focus on only one theme. If you’d like to explore both, register separate entries using different email IDs.
13Can the pavilion design use any material?
Yes—materials are at the discretion of the designer. Choose wisely to ensure buildability, practicality, and alignment with the brand ethos.
14Are detailed construction drawings required at this stage?
No—we request participants to focus on presenting a strong, buildable concept. Working drawings are not required in this stage.
15When will the results be announced?
Refer to the Timeline section in the brief or on the competition page. Updates will also be shared on Archdais platforms.
16What’s the difference between the Contemporary and Antique themes?
Contemporary reflects the brand’s evolving, bold identity—minimal, expressive, and modern. Antique pays tribute to heritage, rooted aesthetics, and traditional craftsmanship.
17Is the entry fee refundable if I decide to withdraw from the competition?
No. As per the Terms & Conditions, the registration fee is non-refundable.
18What’s the last date to register and submit?
Refer to the Timeline & Registration section of the brief for current deadlines.
19Can I register and submit on behalf of my team members?
Yes, as long as their names are added during registration.
20Can I share my work before results?
No. Early sharing will result in disqualification. Designs must stay confidential until results are officially announced.
21What is the judging process?
Jury members will evaluate all eligible submissions based on the Judging Criteria listed in the brief.
22Who will be on the jury for this competition?
We’re curating a panel of distinguished professionals from the fields of architecture, interiors, and exhibition design. The jury list will be announced soon on our website and Instagram. Stay tuned for updates!
23Will non-winning entries be published?
Yes—select entries may be featured on Archdais platforms, with full credits.
24Can I change the theme after registration?
Yes—you are free to design your proposal in either theme (Contemporary or Antique). The theme selection is based on the concept you submit, not during registration.
25Can my team submit both themes?
Yes—but each theme must be submitted as a separate entry using a different email ID.
26Will the pavilion be used at multiple exhibitions?
The pavilion will be built and showcased at one of Jaipur Rugs’ upcoming exhibitions. Further use will be at the brand’s discretion.
27How will I know if my submission was received successfully?
You will see a confirmation message on the site. For email submissions, you'll receive a confirmation within 24–48 working hours.
28If selected, will the designer be involved in execution?
Yes—Jaipur Rugs will connect with the winning designer(s) to collaborate on the final build.
29Will I receive feedback on my submission?
Due to the high number of entries, individual feedback is not guaranteed. Select entries may receive jury remarks during the awards or publication.
30What if the Archdais website is down near the submission deadline?
If urgent technical issues arise, email your entry to submission@archdais.com with your Teamcode.
31Can firms or companies participate officially?
Yes—design firms and studios are welcome to participate. Simply register as a team (maximum 3 members) under a single email ID.
32Can I register now and submit later?
Absolutely. You can register early to secure your spot and submit your design anytime before the final submission deadline mentioned in the brief.
33Can I include text on my submission sheet?
Yes—include up to 300 words of text to explain your concept clearly. Ensure all text is in English.

Yes—winning entries will be published on Archdais platforms and shared across Jaipur Rugs and partner media channels to ensure maximum visibility and recognition.

Participants will receive their unique Team Code upon completing the registration process.
36Are multiple entries allowed, and how should they be registered?
Yes, participants can submit multiple entries, but each entry requires a separate email ID.

If you don’t receive your Team Code after payment, send a screenshot of your payment receipt to competition@archdais.com within two working days.
41Is there an entry fee for the competition?

42What is a promo code, and how can participants get one? Is it mandatory?
