Project Description
The Mashū House revolves around the concept of interception of strict geometry with eccentric nature, through open floor plans i.e., entry of ample light and wind, emphasizing nothingness and empty space to represent the beauty of simplicity. To showcase the idea of simplicity, the house is mainly constructed with concrete, providing a sense of cleanliness and weightlessness at the same time, even though concrete is a heavy material. Due to the simplicity of the exterior, the construction, and organization of the space are relatively potential in order to represent the aesthetic of sensation. To the left, is the view from the liarea inrea in the woods.
